About: Accident & Emergency / Zone C Outpatients Services / Fracture Clinic Royal Victoria Hospital / Radiology

(as a service user),

I want to thank staff at the RVH following a sports injury.

I attended the main RVH ED reception on a Sunday evening and I was escorted around to the minor injuries unit by Joe, an ED porter.

At minor injuries I was quickly triaged by Sophie the nurse and was then seen by Michelle an ENP.

I required X-rays and was sent round to the X-ray department, the x-rays were kindly taken by a Radiographer Andy and an Assistant Practitioner Michael.

I subsequently required a MRI of my foot and ankle. The RVH MRI team were fantastic. Joanne explained the examination fully and the MRI was reported by Dr Roberts.

I was seen in RVH Fracture Clinic by Mr Hayes who undertook a thorough examination and provided information on my recovery journey.

I would like to thank Cecilia and all the team in Fracture Clinic for their care and compassion. I had my 6 week Fracture Clinic review recently and have now been discharged.

Overall, a hugely positive patient experience. Thank you all for the great work you do everyday.
