My son became unwell whilst I was on holiday, on return we visited GP who upon review referred us to on call oncologist at Monklands Hospital

Great service from GP and staff in Ward 5 and Day surgery units at Monklands Hospital.  Very quickly seen, bloods completed and ultrasound completed within 3 hrs of arrival, thankfully all clear given re cancer but operation required. 

First visit on Tuesday, review on Wednesday and operation in Day Surgery on the Thursday, all staff very friendly and helpful, very understanding of a young man and his concern re an operation. 

Excellent service by all

Thank you for taking the time to thank staff for the care given to your son on his recent attendances at the hospital - in particular MAU and Day Surgery.

This must have been a very anxious time for you both and I am glad that staff were able to address your concerns and put your son at ease for his surgery.
