"Kind, caring and full of expert advice"

About: Braid Valley Hospital and Ballymena Health and Care Centre / Community Midwives

(as a service user),

I am very grateful for the care, attention and support I received from the community midwives in the NHSCT Mid-Ulster Area after the birth of my child.

I wish I had names to thank them individually but regrettably I do not. Nonetheless, everyone who spoke to me or visited me was kind, caring and full of expert advice. I felt safe and supported. Many went the extra mile in supporting me over the weekend and a bit longer than usual due to infection.

I wish I had a reward or pay rise for them as they really are exceptional and helped me make it through a really challenging postnatal period.

I hope this note of thanks reaches them and their management as they deserve high praise for their work. The new mums in my area are lucky to have them.

Dear Pregnant,

Firstly I apologies for the length of delay in a response to you after you have taken the time to provide feedback.

Congratulations on the birth of your little one.

As a Lead Midwife within the Trust I am delighted in reading such a positive experience of the care you received with the Mid Ulster team.

I will ensure they and their team leader receive your feedback as it makes such an impact to the midwives and individuals to hear the positive impact they make.

Once again, thank you so much for your valuable feedback,

Best Wishes,

Rachel Chakravarti

Lead Midwife
