"I was really well looked after"

After an unacceptably long time on a waiting list, I was seen by a fantastic Physiotherapist called Chloe, at Udston Hospital.

As I said, the waiting list for an acute problem is unacceptable, but this obviously is not Chloe’s fault, so I would love to give her a special shout out for being exceptionally kind and thorough in my treatment. I had gone to a private physiotherapist, and it was ok in as much as I didn’t end up off sick, but the examination and treatment were cursory.

So the difference when I saw an NHS Physiotherapist was unbelievable. Chloe was amazing, she gave me a really thorough assessment (It was an hour, so I really felt “listened to”, she was so clear in her explanations, and I was really well looked after. I don’t think my knee will ever totally clear up (joys of ageing) but I am now confident in self management.
