My son had his first block of speech and language therapy with Claire, he thoroughly enjoyed this and has progressed well. Claire was excellent with him and made him feel extremely comfortable. She gave us great resources and ideas to repeat with when at home and in school while we await his next block. He really enjoyed this block and his confidence has grown as at time before this he would become frustrated and sometimes not even try when people didn’t understand what he was saying.

Thank you so much ema_2016 for letting us know about your son's positive experience with his first block of speech and language therapy.

I am delighted that Claire provided enjoyable activities and that your son felt so relaxed with her. We pride ourselves on being a child friendly service and its always great to hear this confirmed.

We really appreciate when parents understand how important their role is in helping their child progress. By continuing on with the intervention at home, you will see your son's new confidence in talking being built upon. It sounds as if his school are on board as well and in our opinion that is the perfect partnership.

I will make sure to pass on your feedback to Claire and to our wider team. Claire deserves so much credit for all that she does for the children in her care. Thank you again for highlighting how good a job she is doing.
