"Having the coil fitted"

About: Sexual Health Services - North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent (Open Clinic)

(as the patient),

The appointment itself was lovely- as can be. The ladies made me feel very comfortable. The issue was I'd had a phone call the previous evening to say there was a cancellation and give the 9:15am slot. At 9:30 I asked how late they were running. There was a communication error their side which meant I was not on the system. They did correct this and had me in straight away resolving it quickly.

Dear RhiannaRainbow,

Apologies for the delay in responding to you feedback.

Thank you for highlighting this to us. I'd like to apologise again for any inconvenience this may have caused to you on the day, and am relieved to read that you did have your coil fitted. I am unsure of the exact reason this occurred. It may have been a computer error or a human error and thankfully this does not occur on a regular basis, but I do appreciate the disruptions this can lead to.

It does highlight that communication is crucial in ensuring patient care is organised and delivered effectively.

Thanks again for leaving your feedback

Kind regards

Leanne Fowler
