Despite having my ADHD diagnosis for over 10 years, wasted a lot of time and resources re-diagnosing me. Despite having been treated effectivlely with medication with minimal side effects I was offered a series of drugs that caused horrible side effects, leading to a deterioration in my mental health.
Through the process I did not feel part of the decision-making process for my own treatment and was told it's this or nothing on several occasions.
