"I felt he was in very safe hands"

About: Adult Health Services / Physiotherapy Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Cardiology Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Coronary Care Unit (CCU) (J Centre) Inverclyde Royal Hospital / Physically Disabled Rehabilitation Unit ( PDRU) -Larkfield Unit

(as a relative),

My husbands care in Inverclyde Royal Hospital was exemplary in all 3 wards he was in CCU, Cardiology and Larkfield Rehab and during the 3 weeks he was under hospital care, I felt he was in very safe hands.

The physio's and OT at Larkfield gave me all the advice and help needed for me to welcome and be ready for Colin coming home.

And since he has been home, our physio Nicky has been excellent, caring and has done so much for both of us and with her help he will gain his strength and confidence

Thank you everyone.

Dear fireen 59,

My name is Anne Marie Reid and I am Co-Team Lead for the Community Rehab Team that has been working with your husband since he has returned home.

I would like to mirror what Lead Nurse Alison McKinnon said and to thank you for taking the time to send in your story to the Care Opinion.

As a team we very much appreciate when someone takes the time to express how good a service they've had and we aim to ensure this happens not only for your husband and other patients but for all families who have a loved one coming home after a stay in hospital.

I'm sure with your help and support and input from our team your husband will continue to make progress and improve his quality of life at home. I will pass these kinds words onto our Physio Nicki (who I'm sure will be delighted) and once again I would like to thank you for taking the time to share your lovely feedback.

Many thanks

Anne Marie Reid
