Some years ago, due to a tumour, all internals of my left ear were removed, so all hearing now through my right ear. Recently my right ear has been failing and hearing getting far worse, and awful tinnitus.
Asked my surgery for a referral to audiology at Medway Hospital and they forwarded me the link. The usual wait, it said, was 27 weeks, and then said no appointments were available, so applied to Maidstone hospital and awaiting reply.
Went back to my GP surgery and asked for a doctor to look at my ear, and they have referred me to a local pharmacy, but despite ringing several times, no one answers the phone for me to make an appointment.
