"Outstanding care from midwife Gina at Whipton Hospital"

About: Exeter Community Hospital

(as a service user),

I had my last community midwife session with Gina today and I wanted to say how wonderful she was to me and my family. I found out unexpectedly at a 37 week scan that my unborn son had complications with his kidney, on top of my 3 year old recently being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Gina went above and beyond to support me both at hospital and at home to make sessions more accessible. The last few weeks have been such a rollercoaster of emotion and made all the difference having that continuity of care.

Thank you so much - I’ll never forget it.

Hope you have a good holiday :)

Dear Raffy85

Thankyou so much for taking the time to give your lovely feedback for Gina one of our community midwives. It is so great to hear the personalised care that she gave and how this made such a difference to your care. How she made the appointments more accessible for you and was aware of your personal circumstances and this made a really positive impact on your care.

I will be sharing this with Gina and her line manager so that she can see how her individualised personalised care made a real difference.
