I visited the children’s blood service on Brotherton Wing as my daughter had been referred for a blood test.
My daughter was extremely anxious and nervous. The two phlebotomist immediately put my daughter at ease. They were very patient and worked very efficiently to get the procedure completed. 5 stars to these members of staff.

Your post is wonderful to read and I am extremely pleased that your daughter had such a positive experience whilst using our phlebotomy services.
I have passed your comments onto the manager for the Phlebotomy service and have asked that these are shared them with the team. I know they will be delighted to know that they put your daughter at ease with the care they gave her.
