Autism Initiatives claim to offer adult late diagnosis support in Scotland. Sadly my experience has been far from any support.
Three professionals have now been allocated to help me. The first spent months to reply, then the meeting was set up and they didn't turn up.
The second one messed me around, seemed unsure what they were supposed to be doing, failed to arrive at an appointment.
Number three professional, failed to respond, months after trying to arrange a meeting still no meeting, and only after making a complaint did they reply 5 months afterwards, with no apology. I got a half-hearted apology after making a complaint. But still no support!
