"Words cannot describe the level of care and support"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as a relative),

My mum was admitted to A &E recently after a fall at home. All the staff in A&E treated my mum fantastic. She was then admitted to ward 62 where words cannot describe the level of care and support my mum received from every member of staff. Special thanks to Cal and Hannah the nurses, Rodger the physiotherapist and Tommi the occupational therapist. My mum is now home and recovering well after a week in hospital. Massive thanks again to everyone involved with her care.

Dear PaulaS

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was pleased to hear the care and treatment your mum received from our staff was to a high standard and she felt well cared for.

It was great to hear how the staff took the time to make your mum feel welcomed into the ward and showed compassion and empathy throughout her stay.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to the team who I'm sure will be touched to hear your kind words.

I'm glad your mum is feeling a lot better and recovering well back at home.

Kind regards

Kevin
