I was very nervous and worried about my results.

The staff were good.

Patient after care could be improved.

Hi Mcc1

My name is Marie Devlin and I am the manager of the pre -op assessment team. Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback of your surgical journey. All the pre- op assessment staff try to ensure that our patients have a positive experience with us as we understand that patients can be very apprehensive about their surgery and anesthetic so we try to allay any fears or worries that they may have.

I will pass this on to the staff who appreciate any feedback from their patients and I wish you well with your ongoing recovery.

However I would suggest that you contact the relevant department regarding your after care and discuss how you feel. We all endeavor to improve the service given to our patients.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this response to Care Opinion.

My name is Brenda O'Neill, I am Interim Lead Nurse in Antrim & Causeway Gynae.

I realise there can be very mixed emotions when in hospital despite it being planned and recovery can vary between patients. We always appreciate any feedback.
