"Wifi wouldn't work when I tried to use SignVideo"

About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I went to A&E RVH and I ended up to stayed for two nights. I forgot to bring my charger for my cochlear implant. I tried to use sign video however the signal was awful and WiFi wouldn't work when I tried to use the app. I felt disappointed that it didn't work for me.

Dear grussn78,

My name is Linsey Sheerin and I am the Divisional Nurse For the Adult Emergency Departments at Belfast Trust. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on Care Opinion. I am sorry to read that you had to spend two nights in the Emergency Department and that the wifi signal was so poor that you could not use sign video. I will comments are shared with Information Technology Department. It is unacceptable that such a vital service was not available to you when you needed it most.

I hope that you are currently well and have been discharged from hospital.

Linsey
