"Ready to start my new life"

I was taking sleeping tablets for the last 5 years, this was due to stress in my life. It came to the point where I was taking 14 sleeping tablets a day. Due to losing access to my family and children, my life hit  rock bottom and It was clear I needed help. 

I approached CGL, I received support from them until after 18 months I was accepted in DCDS, which I accepted with both hands.

When I came to DCDS I was very worried as I didn't think it would be such a friendly environment. On arrival I felt very welcomed by the staff who were very helpful, friendly and caring. After day four of my stay I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The pieces of my life started coming back together. The medical staff gave me medication to help me come off the sleeping tablets, and the staff were always available. The doctor and nurses were always available when required, at any time of the day when feeling low.  We did mediation and and all types of helpful groups every evening where you you find ones which will really resonate with you....trust me.

I found the accommodation clean, and it was a nice family atmosphere.

I was scared  to come her but on reflection it all became ok.
