"Talking mental health Derbyshire services"

About: Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health

(as a service user),

I had a call 5 months ago. We agreed on the phone that I was not suffering from depression. I needed a different assessment from a different service. They then wrote to my doctor to say - I have spoken with X about their depression.

That was written by a member of staff who agreed it was not depression, so well done for messing up my records. Also this was in December, it’s now April and I’ve heard nothing back. Their waiting lists are horrendous, I don't know why they continue to take people on when they can’t seem to look after the ones they’ve already spoken to!!!

Asked manager to fix their paperwork mistake to be told over the phone by someone who’s never met me that I do indeed have depression. This service has done nothing but make me feel confused, lied to and dismissed!!!!
