I have been attending the ACT group for a while and I cannot put into words how much difference this group is making to my daily life and understanding of my addiction. Each group is expertly delivered, I have nothing but confidence in Kieran and the passion he obviously has for ACT is huge, which is contagious! Every week I go home with little light bulb moments and spend the following week, joining dot to dots!
My only complaint is that I wish there was more than one group a week. Lucy, who co-facilitates finds the most apt mindfulness exercises and also exudes enthusiasm. I feel all the time I’m able to access ACT, understand my values, addiction and keep open minded to change, the higher chance my recovery is of being successful. Kieran, is also my keyworker and just like my experiences of previous keyworkers, I have zero complaints!
I’d also like to mention the entire team, it’s a rarity to find such a team in the NHS where every member of staff has the service users best interests at heart. So many other NHS services could learn from Inclusion Eastleigh. (Ex NHS employee)
Eastleigh is very lucky to have such an incredibly strong team.
