"Follow up treatment after heart attack"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Cardiology Queen Margaret Hospital / Community Rehab Service

(as the patient),

After I got home I was contacted by the cardiac rehab team.

I was given regular appointments where I had my blood pressure, heart rate, medication and bloods regularly checked.

During these appointments it was discovered that my medication had slowed my heart rate down and the nurse organised to get it changed and now it is back to normal.

I can’t thank this team enough for all the help and support I received. They filled me full of confidence for the future.
