"This is honestly the best hospital I have ever been to"

I had to have a full hysterectomy. I am a private person so this felt a very invasive procedure. I was worried, scared a very anxious about the procedure.

Every person who dealt with me at the Chesterfield Hospital was beyond nice. Booking in at TAU, everything was explained clearly to me and I had no questions. The anesthetiser, there were two ladies and they were so nice. They both explained everything and both held my hands until I drifted away.

Upon waking up on the ward (Staveley) every nurse was so kind and caring. When they had to check my wounds I felt completely at ease and not uncomfortable at all. Any questions I had they explained and answered them perfectly. I was made to feel safe and cared for. This is honestly the best hospital I have ever been to. I would like to thank all the staff so much.

And the food was lovely too and the man who bought the tea round makes a perfect cuppa, thank you x
