"Excellent service from a very busy department"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

I ended up in A&E yesterday and was lucky enough to firstly meet Lindsay the housekeeper and then Michelle the senior charge nurse who treated me. It turns out I had plantar fasciitis and I couldn’t walk.

Michelle examined my foot and then explained fully what was going on and gave me much needed painkillers that thankfully kicked in today. Excellent service from a very busy department.

Also thanks again to Lindsay who escorted me back to my lift as I was struggling to walk!

Thank you so much Maureen24

Both Lindsay and Michelle will be delighted to receive your kind feedback.

Thank you for recognising our busy department and I am glad the painkillers are kicking in following advice from Michelle.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Gerry
