About: Paediatric surgery / Children's Surgical Unit Ward 30 Paediatrics / Children's Play Service

(as a parent/guardian),

I took my 4 year old in for day surgery before christmas. Everyone was so kind and helpful, from Yvonne, the play specialist to Lisa the surgeon. We even got to go over to the children's ward and see a show, which took our minds off waiting (which we didn't have to do for very long)

I thought it would be a really difficult experience for both of us, but it really wasn't!
