"Wonderfully compassionate and considerate doctor"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Older People Assessment Unit

(as a carer),

We have seen Dr Watt three times now in Old People Assessment Unit (OPAU) at Daisy Hill.

She has always been wonderfully compassionate and considerate. She has been the only doctor who has truly tried to understand my mother’s situation and how she feels. She has applied herself to solving problems, seeking senior advice, and providing reassurance, in such a warm friendly way.

The nurses have also been uniformly friendly and helpful, even when we have had long waits. They are always kind and accessible.

The follow up has been very efficient and reliable. Thank you to all of them.

Many thanks for taking the time to post such positive feedback regarding our service in OPAU, Daisy Hill Hospital. It is very reassuring to hear that your mother was treated with compassion and kindness by Dr Watt and all involved, as should be.

It is a great service as a one stop shop for all our patients and I'm delighted that you experienced that.
