(as the patient),

I came out of the care home last week and all the staff were so very kind to me. I had been in the biggest hospital in Prestwick on the Urquhart Ward after suffering a fall, I had a broken arm, urinary tract infection too.

The staff were great and helped me to build up my strength by going to the gym and walking regularly. I've had staff come out to my home regularly and they have helped with showering and getting dressed. Ann & Myra have been fabulous but its been so good to get back home.

Firstly let me say welcome home. It sounds like you have been on a bit of a journey and I am delighted to hear that you are now back in your own home.

I am sorry that you had to suffer such horrible injuries but I am over joyed to hear that your stay in our hospital allowed you to work on your mobility and confidence to allow you to get back home.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to all the staff involved in your recovery and wish you much happiness now you are back where you belong.

I work at the care at home department and I will pass on your feedback to our Maybole/Girvan team, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience especially after everything you have been through. It appears you have been through a really distressing time although I am really delighted to hear you have been able to build up your strength to return to your home.

There is no place like home and I am glad our home care team can assist you with your showering and getting dressed tasks.
