My husband was referred to A&E due to a blood clot in his leg.
From the moment we registered with reception he was given the most amazing treatment, by what can only be described as the friendliest, helpful staff, even though the department was extremely busy.
Everything was explained to him in detail as to what to expect and what to do. Nothing was too much trouble. He was escorted to the different departments he needed to go to.
He is now on medication and follow up treatment.
Thank you Addenbrookes and all the NHS staff working there!
