"Children’s Services - Atrocious Service for SEN…"

I had a terrible experience, with Snapdragons, Children's Services. My 4 year old SEN child, was wrongly referred to Social Services, based on fabricated lies. As well as taking ages, to respond back to you, the therapists do not consult with you, on what is needed for your child. Even though, I told the therapists, I have a few calming toys, for their group sessions, the therapists don't allow you to use them, or tell you to stop, even though, your child finds it calming. They say allowing my child to cry is a good thing, when it does the opposite, and will not be productive. How about listening to us for a change, who knows their child, better than any therapist?

I was in a situation being secretly judged, both at home and in the special nursery sessions. I found the therapists pretending to care when I was going through a bereavement making it out I was unstable mentally, affecting my child's welfare.

I couldn't believe, when I found out, apparently, the therapists said, I needed to have a GP note or hospital note, for my child’s appointment absence. This is the first, I have heard of this.

Also, it's bizarre, why the therapists decided, to write a referral to Social Services, based on my child, not having a special school placement as well. We all know special schools are oversubscribed, and the LA are doing their best. However, the therapists, made me feel, that I was neglecting education, for my child.
