I had been attending the consultant clinic at AAH due to my previous pregnancy.
I had been feeling unwell and attended the fetal assessment unit out of hours. The nurse who seen me was kind and caring and treated me with dignity and respect. She organised for blood tests and review with the doctor.
Following the appointment I seen the consultant who reviewed me and organised for attendance to Day obstetric unit for a course of iron transfusion due to my low ferritin and hemoglobin.
The environment was organised and relaxing, and the iron transfusions have made a massive difference to my physical health.
I have been able to get back to work and enjoy my pregnancy.
"Organised and relaxing"
