Dear community therapy team, I will be very pleased to give my thanks to you and recommend you to anyone. I had a bad fall crossing the road in Dec 23 and spent 10 days in QMC. I tripped up kerb and broke my jaw and lost 10 teeth (crashed on to my face and could hardly speak or eat or drink! Home just before Christmas. Cant remember when C.T.T started, think I had another team first. After a few visits a lovely lady came and asked me if I felt up to a little walk then on her next visit we had a walk down Wilford Lane.
I nearly got us both run over! Trying to beat the traffic, but she was like a guardian angel, always ready to save me. Next wed we went up the "Twitchel" onto the river bank. Spent time dodging bikes. I'm not sure, but think I also had visits from various carers, mostly nice people. I have now had a visit to the dentist and will soon rob my piggy bank (I'm then going to the Bird's to see if I can eat an elephants foot) the last time Carol took me a walk was down Wilford Lane to the little shop, but I'm not ready for going it alone.
Taxi?!! Funny 2 young doc saw me fall and picked me up then a lady and her daughter said their car was just down "park ave" next to co-op so they took me home, one resident here (retired nurse!!) saw me coming in! and was taken aback.
So thank you again, my love to my guardian angel Carol.
