After a week of continuing episodes, I had a call from Dr Dunn (stroke consultant at Inverclyde). She was amazing, instructed me to go to A&E as soon as possible.
There I was magically spirited out of the queue and taken directly to J North. I was there from a Wednesday midday to Friday evening, where I had a CT scan and an MRI, which established no sign of TIA or stroke (a huge weight off my mind). While in ward J North, I was struck by how excellent the staff across all shifts were, with a widely varying range of patients and challenges presented.
The care was just amazing, the attitudes and professionalism of the staff was fantastic. Too many to name, but Iona, Nicole, the doctors I saw, all so impressive. It's a compliment to those in charge of the ward, I think, as well as the individuals working there.
"Excellent staff across all shifts"
