Very brusque receptionist although she did fill in the on line form. Did not ask if i had other symptoms in addition to very high blood pressure. After prompting agreed my query was urgent.Text mesage from Gp who increased my medication presumably on the basis of one bp reading. Also advised to ring 111 if I had any other symptoms. A telephone consultation should have been offered and the receptionist needs some urgent training to improve her poor level of communication. I could also ask why i was initially given less than the usual maintainence dose when i changed from amilodopine to lisinopril.
