About: Poole Hospital

I was referred to A&E after calling 111. I was immediately booked into the urgent care team for an appointment with a nurse practitioner. I waited less than 5 minutes and was seen, she quickly called ENT team and made me an appointment the following day as the relevant registrar was not in until the morning.

I was expecting to be waiting for hours, but was turned around and out the door with a specialist appointment within 15 minutes, outstanding service thank you.

It is really heart warming to hear the service worked well and your health needs were addressed so rapidly. So often we hear about the lengthy waiting times and how frustrating this can be. It is good to know that in your case a specialist ENT appointment was forthcoming.
