Last Saturday morning, I experienced great acute pain. This necessitated call for ambulance support. This reached me without delay.
I was taken to A and E where I remained until Sunday morning. Throughout that time, I received excellent care from all staff who were clearly under pressure.
Blood tests and scans resulted in my admission to the Heart Centre on Sunday. Here too I was given a very high level of care (angiogram, frequent blood tests, ECGs, etc.( until discharge Tuesday morning.
All staff encountered at every grade of responsibility were patient, professional and supportive. I am very appreciative of our local hospital provision and am grateful to have received life saving attention.
