"Wonderful care at EPAC Centre"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

Early scan appointment. Wonderful caring sympathetic attitude of sonographers and midwives. The staff who work in this centre deserve only the highest praise for their care and help to desperately worried patients and their partners.

All too often people only complain about matters and don't praise where praise is deserved.

The care of this Centre cannot be emphasised and I believe management in the NHS should take note of how supportive and necessary this service is.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We will make sure that this is pased on to all of the staff in the service.

I have recently been reflecting on how it might be possible to 'shine a light' on services who display excellence in elements of safe, caring practice - identifying the key ingredients and then using this to support in areas where improvements are needed. This will certainly be one of the services on the list of ones to think about 'shining a light' on.
