"Basic Care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Short Stay Unit

(as the patient),

Admitted to short stay ward from A&E on a Sunday.

By the Tuesday evening I still didn't have an identity wristband. I've have quite a bit of medication.

1 nurse mentioned it but didn't do anything about it.

Dear Ts Mum,

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, Short Stay Unit.

I am sorry to hear about the worry not having an identity wristband is causing you. I am disappointed that despite mentioning it, a nurse has not done anything about this.

I hope that this has now been resolved and I will ensure the feedback is passed to the team for learning and reflection.

I hope you are feeling better now.

Kind Regards,

Jenni
