"Wonderful ANP"

About: Community Nursing / Urgent Care Service (ANPs)

(as a service user),

After an excellent telephone conversation with Sheona about my own health, I had to contact the GP service again about my 4 year old son, again receiving a phone call from Sheona ANP.

Sheona is always friendly and attentive on the phone and arranged to see my son at a time that was suitable for us.

While attending the appointment, Sheona gave me time to talk,  made us feel welcome and listened to, something that I felt had been lacking when seeing recent GPs.

Sheona was thorough, provided treatment and genuinely made me and my son feel that she cared.  Sheona takes the time to know her patients and she's an absolute delight to interact with.

Thank you Sheona for making a stressful, worrying time just a little bit easier. You're a true NHS gem!

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback to the practice. Any feedback both positive or negative is welcome as it helps us look at the service we are providing and make changes where this is possible.

I am sorry to hear that you have been left feeling you were not welcome or listened to by the GP's, but grateful that you have had a positive experience while consulting with Sheona. I will make sure to share your lovely comments with Sheona and also inform the GP team members of your feelings and observations.

I hope that both you and your son are recovering well and thank you again for taking the time to provide feedback.

Kind regards

Emma Galloway, Practice Manager
