About: Scarborough General Hospital / Accident and emergency Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I was recently brought to A & E by ambulance following a suspected seizure.

Whilst I remember little about the journey, the paramedics - as my wife will testify - were absolutely wonderful and I cannot thank them enough for bringing me round and getting me to hospital as quickly as they did.

I was fortunately seen fairly promptly and the care and treatment I had both in A & E and the Emergency Assessment Unit were second to none.

Everyone was brilliant - professional, efficient and caring.

The various tests I had showed no obvious reason for the problem and I was discharged later in the day with a referral for a sleep study monitor to see if this might be the cause and this has been arranged.
