I was admitted to 2 west following reduced movements at 36 weeks pregnant and was booked for an early induction.
From the minute I was admitted to the ward the care I received was outstanding. A special mention goes to sister Sinead, Midwives Naomi, Angela and Claire for the care that they provided to me both before and after the birth of my beautiful girl.
Unfortunately my daughter was admitted to NICU for a few days and the support I received during this time I will forever be grateful for. The girls went out of their way to listen to my concerns and to provide me with a room in MLU so I had the space with my partner to process everything. Now home my daughter is thriving and I truly believe it was down to the care and attention we received during our 2 week stay.
A special mention also to the ward domestic staff who went out of their way with their care, providing me with breakfast to fresh water. Honestly the standard of care from everyone on that ward was just phenomenal so thank you!
