About: Dame Carol Detoxification Service West Kent Drug & Alcohol Wellbeing Service

(as a service user),

I have been drinking for over thirty years. This eventually led to a relationship break down with my wife and led me not to see her or my children.

I then  realised I had a serious drink problem and I sought help with CGL after my divorce.

CGL referred me to DCDS and I was accepted for detox within six weeks.
