"Failure to diagnose, treat and respond"

About: Princess Alexandra Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

I have been severely let down by the gastrointestinal team at Princess Alexandra. Results for invasive tests lost, tertiary referrals that never happened. They've never answered the phone when I've called.

I sent a letter to PALS at end of my tether- I’ve lost my job as I can’t work due to the increasing severity of symptoms . PALS did not acknowledge receipt for a week and only when I emailed a second time.

My GP can’t help as they can’t get results of info from the hospital. A and E can’t help as they need to see results.

Rang PALS again just to get an answer phone message. No one at this hospital seems to care when things go wrong.
