my daughter had what she thought was severe tonsillitis the receptionist told her the doctors don’t deal with this? my daughter explained she could not swallow, move her head, hadn’t slept and difficulty breathing she was told to see a pharmacist my daughter did this and was checked by the pharmacy who’s reaction to looking in her throat was omg he gave her antibiotics and told my daughter it if was no better the next day to go straight to a&e the next day my daughter telephoned for an emergency appointment, she attended and was sent straight to a&e my daughter had quinnsy. IV antibiotics & steroids staff in the hospital were disgusted the doctors receptionist gives advice they don’t deal with tonsillitis my daughter is a nurse in the hospital she attended I have niece who died from meningitis starting with a case of tonsillitis I have a son who’s tonsillitis was dismissed and he ended up in resus with quinsy previously, I also work as an auxiliary nurse I might add receptionist needs to learn manners, have compassion and warmth or else change job roles where do you hire these people from
