Myself and my husband attended an appointment in the children's outpatients clinic with our 8 week old baby.
We had a positive experience and were seen promptly for an issue identified in the community by our Health Visitor. The Dr who seen us was kind, thorough and listened to our concerns. The health care assistant who completed our babies measurements before we seen the Dr was also very pleasant.
During our Time in the department I needed to breastfeed my baby and I was able to use the dedicated feeding room. The room was stocked with nappies and wipes and had a chair and nice foot stool however I would like to add I feel a pillow would be very beneficial if at all possible.
I understand for infection control this would have to be cleaned between use however I am sure this could be arranged? I was not able to feed my baby particularly comfortably due to the lack of pillow so for me personally it would be a great addition to the room.
