"I felt at ease and in good hands"

About: Bridlington and District Hospital

(as the patient),

I recently attended Bridlington hospital for a Flexi-sigmoidoscopy. 

I was very nervous about this and felt underprepared before my appointment. 

Every single one of the staff on that shift went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. They were incredibly reassuring, and also very informative breaking down every part into steps and explaining everything in great detail. They were realist and honest, and I felt at ease and in good hands for the entire duration of my time on their unit. 

Such a team deserves so much recognition for making what could have been a very uncomfortable and traumatic experience a comfortable, positive and factual one. 

Thank you to all the team there, you are a credit to your profession and deserve recognition.
