"Exemplary care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Cardiothoracic (Heart and Lung) Ward

(as a carer),

My dad has unfortunately been in hospital awaiting a care home bed since November. He is finally due to be discharged into the care home of our choice. He has predominantly been in ward 216 for the duration of his stay and the care he has received has been exceptional!

All of the staff have shown a real professionalism and compassion towards the care of my father. Chatting with him and attending to his needs. They have made a stressful situation that much easier knowing that dad has been well cared for. The ward is an excellent example of how care and compassion should be delivered. Thank you all x

Dear Frustrated daughter,

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback.

It is humbling to read that the care has been "exceptional", and I am really delighted that you had such a positive experience.

I have shared your kind words with all the team - they are truly delighted!

I trust that you are recovering well and thanks again.

Kind regards

Linda
