After developing rapidly worsening bilateral cataracts at 56 within a year, at the brink of not being able to do my job or drive, I was seen quickly by the ophthalmology team following an urgent referral from by optician. The secretary was lovely as was Dr Welsh during the telephone consultation.
Dr Ellis did an amazing job correcting both sides in one go under local anaesthetic whilst I was supported by a lovely and very reassuring nursing/theatre team. My recovery was so quick (I spent the week cleaning my house, necessary due to my excellent new vision :). I do not even need glasses now. Thank you so much for sorting me out so quickly and so well. I will be forever grateful. Well done!
"Excellent care"
