About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

Referred to gynaecology urgently by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) at my GP practice. Scan within 2 weeks, Consultant appointment within 3 weeks from initial appointment with ANP. 

Consultant was excellent - open and honest with discussions, took into account my own research and knowledge when discussing and didn't make me feel at all like just another patient. 

Cannot fault the service, communication and respect with which I was treated.   Thankfully also nothing serious but had it been serious I know I would have felt confident and secure under the care of Dr Dutton, Consultant Gynaecologist at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story with us. I am delighted to hear that you have had such a positive experience under the care of Dr Dutton, who will delighted to learn of your lovely feedback.

At such a worrying time, it is lovely to know that you were able to see the consultant so quickly and that Dr Dutton was able to make you feel included in your care and treatment, as well as reassured that you were in good hands.

I am pleased to learn that there was nothing seriously wrong, and thank you again for taking the time to contact us
