My husband was in a traffic accident and had an open book pelvic fracture, he was in hospital for 10 weeks as he is non weight bearings both legs. He is 67 years old and was discharged from Lister hospital with three weeks to go before he could weight bear.
The physio people said my home was not suitable one week and changed their minds a week later, my husband was carried in to my house by the ambulance men and we have had absolutely no help. My husband could not get out of our house if there was a fire and we are now struggling to get transport for his appointment at Addenbrookes next week.
We feel totally deserted not even a phone call from anyone. I think it is disgraceful how we have been treated.
