(as the patient),

Recently I had a breast lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy at New Stobhill Hospital Day Surgery. The care I've received from being diagnosed with breast cancer, less than a month ago, has been exemplary. My consultant, Ms Maclean has kept me informed throughout of all processes and expectations. At the day surgery I was taken care of and assisted by the marvellous staff: my consultant and breast care nurses, anaesthetists, radiologist and nurses at the Day Surgery. A particular mention to my consultant Ms Maclean, my anaesthetist, radiologist Allison, nurses Morag and Jordane and student nurse Jennifer. Many thanks.

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to share your story on Care Opinion. I am comforted to know you have received exemplary care from the staff here at Stobhill Hospital as this is something they strive to deliver. I will be sure to pass this on to them and they will be delighted to hear that their hard work has not gone unnoticed. I am sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer but I can assure you, you have the best team, as a very close family member of mine has just gone through this too and no question or worry is an issue for them and the support is outstanding.

I hope you are recovering well from your surgery and if you have to have any further treatments I hope they go smoothly for you.
