"Treated with care and compassion"

About: Trauma & Orthopaedics / Ward 4B

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

My family and I would like to thank all the doctors, especially Dr Akin and Dr Anushka, all the nurses, Macmillan palliative care nurses, healthcare assistants and staff of Ward 4B. My mother was admitted with a hip fracture and then diagnosed with terminal cancer, the staff looked after her above and beyond the call of duty and she was treated with care and compassion that we will never forget as a family. As a family member of a patient and as an employee of Belfast Trust, I want to say I how proud you should be of the your team, the care you gave to my mother right up until she passed away will never be forgotten by us as a family.
