I apologise for being late in giving my opinion, but I have had problems accessing the Care Opinion site due to a technical issue with my computer equipment.

This happened at Hairmyres Hospital.

I would like to thank the following staff for their kind consideration, professional care and assistance at the time of my appointment and booking my appointment. I know radiography is going through challenging times and with a cancer diagnosis it is a stressful time in waiting for these appointments. So a thank you to-:

Suzie for booking my appointment on the telephone.

A big thank you to Lorna and Leigh for treating me so well during my scan and to the nurse (sorry didn't get your name) for painlessly removing my needle. Great staff with lots of friendly banter.

I am so pleased to hear about the professionalism and care shown to you during your appointment. You are absolutely right that all out departments are under pressure just now, however we always aim to do our best for our patients. I can only imagine how worrying a wait would be following a cancer diagnosis and I am so pleased that Suzie helped you to book your appointment and Lorna, Leigh and the nurse for supporting you during your scan.

I am sure they will all be delighted to hear your kind words and I look forward to sharing these with everyone involved.
