"Nothing was a bother and they had so much patience"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery

(as a service user),

I was admitted for bowel resection (for large polip) using robotic surgery technique. Operation was carried on time/date agreed and successful.

Surgeon (Mr Ray, Crosshouse Hospital) was excellent and came to see me several times after my operation and was an excellent communicator.

Nurses in Ward 4B were amazing, nothing was a bother and they had so much patience.

The only negative comment I can make is the shortage of beds, tables, etc. and of course staff had the poor nurses run ragged. Their ability to function under these circumstances is high commendable.
